Enjoy iWantv! for FREE!!!
iWantv! is a website that hosts all your favorite ABS-CBN and cable channel shows. This is a value-added service offered by Sky Broadband and Bayan DSL for their subscribers* (*With at least 512kbps package)!
There will be 2 kinds of streamed shows:
1 is what they call the Video on Demand and the other is the LIVE streaming of selected ABS-CBN/ Cable shows
For the Live Show streaming, here are the list of available shows as of January 2010 in iWantv!

If you are not a Bayan DSL or Sky Broadband subscriber, you cannot watch these shows because only their subscribers can access the iWantv! website with a username/ password.
If you are a Sky Broadband or Bayan DSL with at least 512kbps subscription, CONGRATULATIONS! You can watch the said videos in iWantv! FOR FREE starting January 16, 2010!
How to register/ access the iWantv! for free?
Instructions on how to use/access iWantv for free:
1) Go to http://www.iwantv.com.ph
2) If you are going to use it for the first time, register** here
3) After registering and receiving your account details, you can now login at http://www.iwantv.com.ph
4) You are now ready to watch LIVE shows and/or Video on Demand FOR FREE!
**When you are registering, please have your Sky Broadband or Bayan DSL account number with you. You will be asked to enter it upon registering. Check your e-mail after to get your username and password.
Step 3: Then just choose whether you want to watch live TV or video on demand.
As of the moment, MAC OS users won't be able to utilize this service but according to them, they are working on it as you read my post. BUT! MAC OS that has Windows OS CAN watch the said FREE shows on iWantv!
Based on my testing, the video on demand shows are current meaning, the TV Patrol news I saw last night can be watched at anytime on the following day. The same goes with your favorite Pinoy teleseryes.
Unfortunately, imported teleseryes like Boys over flowers and other koreanovela, Tsinovela and the likes won't be available because of copyright issues and rights.
Again, this is not a paid service. This is a free service to SkyBroadband and Bayan DSL customers brought to you by ABS-CBN interactive, Bayan DSL and Sky Broadband.

Any update about iwantv? I've checked the site recently and found some changes like the whole website, the offered programs and broadcast, the packages etc...

ReplyDeleteSana ang may ari nitong iwant tv. Nakipag negotiate sa smart broadband at globe broadband, para ang mga ibang mga subscriber makakapanood naman! Hindi naman magiging deficit! ang mga online tv nga sa america na ginagawa din ng mga internet broadband nila doon, nakikpag negotiate din sa ibang internet net work! tingnan niyo sumikat ang website nila! dapat DSL broadband staff yan ang iisipin ninyo. Sisikat ang iwant tv pag ina allowed ninyo ang ibang mga internet broadband na maka access sa website ninyo! Lalakas pa ang kikitain ninyo!ang website ninyo ay magkakapera pa ng malaki galing sa smart at globe dahil babayaran naman nila ang iwanttv, para ang mga ibang users makaka access din
